Christmas 2008

Christmas 2008 was a very exciting Christmas. We started off the Christmas festivities the weekend before Christmas. Kevin and I hosted The Fandrei Christmas down here in Fishers. We had a great time baking cookies, watching the kids open (or not open gifts), and just being together. We were so excited to have Evan here celebrating his first Christmas! Santa even made a special trip to our house to see all the good boys and girls!
We spent Christmas Eve and Day by ourselves down here in Fishers. It was tough being away from family, especially missing the big Greenya Christmas Eve party, but we did have a very memorable time together. Ella was so excited to get ready for Santa. She made sure that he had good cookies that she decorated herself, and she made sure that the reindeer had food too. She was so excited Christmas morning. She woke Kevin and I up, and she almost climbed out of her crib because I guess we weren't fast enough. She loved opening all her presents, but mostly she loved riding around on her new Diego "motorcycle".
We then made the trip up North the weekend after to celebrate some more. We spent Saturday evening at the Vanderpools celebrating with the Johnson side of the family. Boy, there were a lot of kids there! Ella loved playing with all of them. Sunday, we celebrated Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Kobli and Aunt Natalie. I think Ella was more excited about chasing the cat around than opening presents. We had a nice relaxing day just hanging out, except it was slightly spoiled by an awful Bears game that needless to say ended in a loss and a finish to their season.
We had such a great time visiting with everyone! We always wish that we would have more time with everyone. Ella received so many nice gifts and enjoys playing with all of them. Thank you all!
